Govt. Spox: Iran not to sit in negotiation table with US

“Regarding the conditions of the US rulers today and as it has been well proved to Europeans too, what a necessity arises for Iranian foreign minister to sit beside the American counterpart? We will not sit with such people at all; as long as these people do not come to their senses and are not worthy of being a partner for talks with us, we will not sit with them on a (negotiation) table,” said Nobakht in a press conference in Tehran on Tuesday.

Nobakht made the comment when asked by a reporter whether Iran had lodged any complaint against the US.

Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif in an interview with CNN in New York on Sunday said the US President Donald Trump had violated the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) both in spirit and content.

“As the law envisions anything about the oil contracts, the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) too has assigned a special working group to monitor the JCPOA issue; it will follow any conclusion pertaining to the JCPOA violation,” he added.
