
Frank Dictor Kasparack, the Managing Director of FKA company, told the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) that the company has developed a series of technologiesfor seeding the clouds with the purpose of being more efficient compared to rival technologies.
Cloud seeding is a mechanism of changing the amount or type of precipitation that falls from clouds, by dispersing substances into the air.
FKA, headquartered in southwestern Germany, signed a memorandum of understanding with Iran's National Cloud Seeding Research Center on September 18.
The center has been studying and conducting various projects using two aircrafts since 20 years ago.
The FKA's representative Aleksie Shilin in a meeting with the Iranian center said that the purpose of his visit to Iran is offering solutions for improving cloud seeding projects in the country. FKA can provide Iran with the chemicals and the aircrafts required for cloud seeding.
He also said that the German company is ready to train Iranian experts on the issue.
