Germany asks for constructive talks between Iran, Saudi Arabia

'Germany wants constructive interaction between Tehran and Riyadh to enable the two sides discuss about different issues and bilateral talks while resolving the complicated problems of the two sides,' German Government Spokesman Martin Schaefer said.

Schaefer pointed to the recent visits German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier to Tehran and Germany, and said, 'Iran and Saudi Arabia are considered tow important countries of the region and Germany has always pointed to the roles played by Tehran and Riyadh on resolving regional disputes, including Syria and Yemen.'
