Free, fair elections represent democracy: Iran’s Ambassador

Adibi made the remarks after casting his vote in Hanoi for the 12th presidential elections which is being held in 102 countries.

The Iranians residing in Vietnam attended the voting at the Iranian embassy in Hanoi.

Over 56 million Iranians are eligible to vote in Iran's 12th presidential elections, according to the Election Headquarters of the Interior Ministry.

If no candidate wins more than 50 percent of votes cast, the top two candidates will compete in a runoff election on May 26.
