Envoy reiterates Iran, Iraq consensus on Arba'ein issue

Masjedi, who is head of Iranian headquarters of Arba'ein in Iraq, made the remarks in a coordination meeting in Baghdad in the presence of Deputy Interior Minister for security and disciplinary affairs Mohammad Hossein Zolfaqari, who is the head of central headquarters of Arba'ein in Iran.

He said that several coordinating meetings have been held with the Iraqi side and the two sides reached noticeable progress.

Masjedi appreciated cooperation of the Iraqi officials.

He predicted that this year, the number of pilgrims might be increased by 15 to 20 percent in comparison with the preceding year.
