“Iran always welcomes the diplomacy of holding talks with its Southern neighbors and this approach will not change with the change of presidents,” Enayati said on Sunday, addressing a press conference.
Enayati pointed to recent message of President Hassan Rouhani to Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad, and said, “Exchange of visits by Kuwaiti and Iranian officials and also exchanging messages between Iran and the PGCC as well as talking about regional issues is Iran’s fixed diplomacy.
He reiterated that exchange of messages and holding meetings and talks is a natural thing and is in the interest of the two countries as well as the regional interests and it greatly influences in making the viewpoints on regional issues to get closer to each other.
The Iranian ambassador underlined that such measures should still continue because all countries today need common view to confront the challenges.
