Eastern Syrian town in Homs liberated

The government armed forces clearing the eastern parts of the Homs Governorate retook the town Jabab Hamad from Daesh, Syrian Ministery of Defense said on Saturday.

The town is 12 km to the south of Umm al-Tababir region.

In the Syrian forces’ operation, a number of terrorists were killed and wounded.

Daesh position in an area 4 km to the east of Jabab Hamad was also targeted by the Syrian troops on Friday. In the attack, a number of the terrorist group members were killed and their weapons were destroyed.
