DM congratulates Iraqi counterpart on Mosul liberation

In two separate messages, General Dehqan offered his congratulations to Iraqi Defense Minister Major General Irfan Hayali and one of the Commanders of Hashd al-Sha’bi Forces (Volunteer Forces) Hadi al-A’meri for full liberation of Mosul city.

He wrote cheerful and honorable news concerning liberation of historical city of Mosul from dirty hands of terrorist group of Daesh, made hearts of all supporters for stability, tranquility and security in Iraq happy.

Dehqan wished success for all forces and expressed hope that in post-Daesh era these forces maintain their Jihadi morale and unity and solidarity to reach sustainable security and progress in brotherly country of Iraq.

He wrote, this great victory, which neutralized conspiracies of the US and the Zionist regime in Iraq, hopefully lead to full defeat of proxy war strategy by hegemony system in the region.

'I take the opportunity to express full readiness of Iran for strengthening and developing defensive, military and security cooperation with Iraq and wish you health and success, Dehqan said.

Terrorist Takfiri group of Daesh (ISIS) occupied Mosul city, capital of Nineveh, in June 2014.
