
'Cultural dialogues result in peaceful coexistence among societies and countries,' Javad Aziz al-Mussavi said on Saturday, addressing the first round of cultural dialogue between Iran and the Arab World hosted by Iran's Islamic Culture and Relations Organization.
Al-Mussavi also pointed to the signing of several memorandums of understanding between Iranian and Arab academic and scientific centers, saying that, 'presently our elites continue their higher education at the Iranian universities.'
'This honorable gathering comprises of Iranian and Arab intellectuals and thinkers that could rely on cultural dialogue to foster strong ties among them,' he said.
The first round of cultural dialogue between Iran and the Arab World kicked off in the Iranian capital on Saturday.
Present at the event were Iranian and Arab cultural officials and figures, including Abouzar Ebrahimi Torkaman, Director of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization.
