Chinese FM arrives in Pakistan to discuss Afghanistan peace

During his two-day visit the Chinese official will hold talks with Pakistani leadership on regional security matters.

Pakistan and China are cooperating closely for peace and reconciliation in Afghanistan.

During meetings, both the sides will also review the bilateral relations.

Wang Yi has arrived in Islamabad after his short visit to Kabul today, where he discussed the same issues with the Afghan leaders.

Wang Yi is visiting Kabul and Islamabad nearly two weeks after Afghan President Ashraf Ghani and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif met on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in Astana, Kazakhstan, on June 9.
