Bulgarian official hails Iranian culture

The Bulgarian minister made the remarks in a meeting with Iran’s cultural attaché in Sofia Mohammad Ali Kiani.

Hristova, who has visited Iran several times, hailed Iranians for their influential role in history, thought and thinking of other nations.

She said considering cultural commonalties and good promising ties between the two countries, Tehran-Sofia cultural activities was a positive step in recent years.

Meanwhile, the Iranian ambassador congratulated Ms. Hristova for her appointment as deputy minister and said that the 120-year old history of diplomatic relations between Iran and Bulgaria is a point of reliance for sincere relations between the two capitals.

The two officials also discussed cooperation and coordination for holding cultural week in the two countries on the occasion of beginning of the 120th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations.
