She wrote in her message that Bosnians remember the late Ayatollah as a statesman who played a great role in establishment and maintaining of friendship between the two countries and also as a man who paid special attention to renovation of Bosina and Herzegovina during and after hard years of war.
The Bosnian academic society too issued a message of condolence.
Chancellor of Sarajevo University, Rifat Skrijelj, on behalf of Bosnia-Herzegovina academic society, expressed his condolences for demise of late ayatollah Rafsanjani to Iranian nation and bereaved family of Rafsanjani.
He wished divine blessing for the late ayatollah and patience for his family.
A memorial service was held in Ghazi Husrav Library in Sarajevo on Wednesday.
Also another memorial service is to be held in a mosque in Sarajevo city on Thursday evening by the Bosnian Islamic Society.
Ayatollah Hashemi Rafsanjani died on Sunday afternoon due to cardiac arrest at the age of 82.
