Azeri religious leader: Saudis not eligible to manage Hajj affairs

Talking to IRNA, Qorbanov who heads the Russian Shiite Association, said the Saudi regime refrained from extending a simple apology for what happened during last year Hajj which proves they are in fact usurpers of the holy Islamic sites and are not efficient in running Hajj pilgrimage.

He said Hajj rituals last year were the scene of most horrible massacre of innocent Muslims which was unprecedented in the history of the Holy Shrines.

He said the Saudi regime behaves the same as the enemies of Islam do.

They carry out measures in favor of the Zionist regime and the Muslim world’s number one enemies and almost orchestrate their policies with the Zionist regime against Palestinians, he added.

He further hoped that the leaders of the Islamic countries would recognize and foil the plots hatched by Saudi Arabia which are carried out in harmony with the Zionist regime.
