Azerbaijan expresses readiness to help Iran’s quake-hit areas

“Azeri authorities, in the past two days, have made phone calls to express sympathy with the Iranians and expressed readiness to deploy rescue teams”, said Javad Jahangiri.

He also said that, in a phone call, the Azeri government proposed to send humanitarian aids to the inflicted areas.

In the Sunday night earth quake in Kermanshah, western Iran, 430 people lost their lives and 4,700 were injured.
