Ayatollah Khamenei underlines importance of resistance economy

“If we want to have an advanced, rich, powerful, independent and with dignity country in the coming 20 years, this needs some works to be done most of which are related to the universities; the reason for my emphasis on the university and professors is this,” Ayatollah Khamenei said.

Iran’s Supreme Leader pointed to the resistance economy as national dignity, and said, “Resistance economy, if implemented in the real sense of the word, can cater for both national dignity and the requirements of the country because it relies on internal capacities.”

“The issue that I would like to emphasize is expediting the pace of Iran’s scientific growth,” the Leader added.

Ayatollah Khamenei went on to say that today “we need to speed up our scientific growth”.

'We have been kept behind at least 60-70 years by traitor or ignorant governments; if we want to advance, we shouldn’t move forward with the speed of those who are ahead of us,” Ayatollah Khamenei added.
