Assyrian MP condoles demise of late Imam Khomeini

Releasing a message, Betkolia underscored that like their fellow countrymen, Iran's Assyrians are also grieving over the sad demise of the late Imam Khomeini.

The 28th anniversary ceremony of the departure of the Founder of the Islamic Republic is to be held in the Imam’s mausoleum southern Tehran on June 4.

A large number of foreign guests and diplomats are to attend the ceremony and hundreds of domestic and international journalists will cover the event.
