Any agreement not to lead to Syria disintegration

'No agreement should undermine the irrevocable principle or lead to Syria’s disintegration,' Shamkhani said in a meeting with Russian Special Envoy for Syrian Affairs Alexander Lavrentiev.

Shamkhani pointed to the Zionists' extensive lobby to weaken Syrian government and direct political and security equations to deal a blow on the resistance front.

He added that the Zionist regime has established deep and extensive bonds with the terrorist groups and their supporting states, trying to use them for the so-called keeping Israeli borders secure and continue suppressing the innocent Palestinian nation.

Shamkhani expressed concern over the Zionist regime's 'unacceptable and worrying' move in making instrumental use of certain terrorist elements from the opportunity for political dialogue and ceasefire to reconstruct themselves.
He stressed, 'Experience has shown that such elements are not committed to any treaty and agreement and will use any chance to kill innocent people and follow up their inhuman goals.
Secretary of the SNSC said trilateral diplomatic initiative and the Astana talks, have proved as successful method to end regional crises by using local capacities.
Lavrentiev presented a report on agreement between Russia, Jordan and the US concerning de-escalation of tension in the region southwest of Syria and answer questions in that concern.
He underlined the decisive role and function of Iran, Russia and Syria in launching stern campaign against terrorism and said joint strategic cooperation among the three countries will continue seriously until full annihilation of the terrorism front.
