An ‘account of fear’ from Lebanon-Occupied Palestine borderlines

But it is true and we saw it on the scene.

Hezbollah's Media Office, in an unprecedented action, called for the foreign and domestic journalists to have a close visit to Lebanon-Occupied Palestine borders to be apprised of the Zionist regime recent fortification and border buttresses installation.

I also go there with a photojournalist. The visiting place is the small border city of Naqoura in southern Lebanon, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

Mohammad Afif, Hezbollah’s Media Officer, welcomes the around-forty journalists, photographers, and cameramen gathering in front of municipality building of Naqoura ready for their unique visit of the area.

On the way to Naqura, on the right side of the narrow serpentine road amidst the trees, we see around twenty Hezbollah rangers aiming their weapons at the occupied Palestine as a symbol of readiness in case of any invasion by the Zionists.

After around a fifteen-minute ride, we get to the zero point of the border where is called the ‘Blue Line’ by the United Nations. The naming was for the purpose of determining whether Israel had fully withdrawn from Lebanon on June 7, 2000.

Walking along the narrow border path, we can clearly see the occupied Palestine and the Zionist settlements.

Passing by one of the major United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) base, we get to Jal al-Alam (Hanita) across form a Zionists radar post equipped with high-tech monitoring and surveillance apparatuses which can be the expression of fear felt by the Zionists side to build such installation.

After visiting there, we continue the UN ‘Blue Line’ to the east. Not just a few seconds passing from our presence, the Zionists, once bitten, twice shy, are placed on alert state with their patrols walking the beat along the border and reconnaissance aircraft flying over the region.

We continue the way for about 2 k.m and we arrive at an area where right across the borders are the Zionists settlements Shlomi with about four thousand residents.

This is one of the places the Zionists are digging ditches and building barrier walls and buttresses, and at the moment we are here, the Zionist bulldozers are working nonstop and making themselves the photographers subjects.

“The construction of the Zionists border installation has been started since last year, after Hassan Nasrallah delivered an ultimatum to the Zionists that Hezbollah will advance to occupied Palestine if there is another invasion by the Zionists,” Says Ehab, one of Hezbollah force field.

Ehab goes on to elaborate more on the details of Zionists movements in borders and their construction process. His dominance over the area is astonishing in which he even knows the Zionists Commanders’ names in the border including Yuval Streak as one of them. This indicates the precise observation of their movements by Hezbollah.

Again on the border path we continue further to the east about 5 more k.m where we confront another Zionist settlements and bunch of bulldozers building up border constructions.

The Israeli Army has divided its borders with Lebanon into the eastern and western parts. The western part, with the length of 50 k.m, starts from the occupied village of al-Salihiyya and continues to Naqoura. Controlling this part of the border is the responsibility of Unit 300 of the Israeli Army with Eliyahu Gabay as its commander.

In our visit today, we just explored 8 k.m of the border lines and the same is also going on the rest of them.

It seems that there has been a major shift in the Zionist security doctrine which now they get to a point that they deem such construction on their borders with Lebanon necessary whereas once they considered themselves the unchallenged power of the region.

Of course Hezbollah has numerously announced they do not welcome the war, but in case of the Zionists invasion, they will answer with all their might.
