Afghan MP: Muslims to resist US, Israel until Quds liberation

The Muslim world issues are intertwined with each other, but the US and the Zionist regime of Israel are trying to make separate cases of them, Abdul-Rahman Rahmani cautioned.

'According to the Holy Quran, in Islam no issue is detached from the others,' he said, adding that the issues pertinent to Iran, Afghanistan, Palestine, Syria, Iraq, Yemen and other Muslim countries are not considered as separate cases by the Muslims, and they will react to the plotters and occupiers.

He made the remarks in a forum on 'Quran and support for Palestinians' on Monday evening in Kabul.

Referring to the latest provocative move by the US in recognition of the Quds as the capital of the Zionist regime of Israel and moving its embassy to it from Tel Aviv, he said that if the Muslim turn a blind eye on occupation of Quds, the same plot will be hatched for Masjid Al-Haram in Mecca.

Criticizing the Bilateral Security Agreement signed between Afghanistan and the US, the lawmaker said that the nations will not enjoy prosperity and peace under the deal.

He argued that Washington has proliferated 24 terrorist groups out of Taliban, each of them, under a specific plan, is trying to harm the Afghans in line with the US interests.

Under the Agreement, thousands of US troops are scheduled to stay in Afghanistan in a non-combat role to advise, assist and train Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF).

The participants at the end of the forum issued an eight-article resolution, stressing that Quds will remain as the Palestine's capital, and moving the US embassy to the city is considered as aggression on the Palestinian territories.
