AEOI chief: EU allocates $5m to raise nuclear safety in Iran

“If US President Donald Trump refrains from suspending sanctions law against Iran, it will be regarded as blatant violation of implementing Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA),” Salehi said.

Nuclear achievements in Iran indicate that the industry is on its right track and any words or rumors on its halt are totally out of question, he said.

Lofty words of the Supreme Leader play significant role in promoting nuclear industry in the Islamic Republic of Iran, Salehi underlined.

Iran's nuclear program is of peaceful nature and there is no room for non-peaceful attempts, he said.

“If we were looking for stockpile and usage of weapons of mass destruction, Iran had used chemical weapons during war with Saddam Hussein as we were capable enough to produce them and also had captured Iraq’s chemical arsenal, but late Imam Khomeni did not let us use them,” he said.
