Iran’s Ambassador to Kuwait Ali Reza Enayati told reporters on Wednesday that three ballot boxes will be set up in two voting stations to ease voting for the Iranian nationals living in Kuwait.
Enayati also called the Iranian nationals in Kuwait to take part in the political event.
According to him, the Iranian community in Kuwait comprises of about 40,000 people.
The Iranian ambassador said that it is impossible to give the exact number of Iranian nationals eligible to participate in May 19 presidential polls.
But the figure, he said, may stand at 30,000.
In 2013 presidential elections, some 9,000 Iranian expatriates in Kuwait took part in the event, Iran’s ambassador to Kuwait said.
According to Enayati the main polling station will be established at Iran’s Embassy, while Iran’s Cultural Office will serve as the next polling place.
