Head of the Russian Coordination Center in Hmeimim Alexei Tsygankov said that the air defense units at the Hmeimim air base destroyed two aerial targets at a safe distance from the base.

Tsygankov indicating that no casualties or material damages have been detected and operations were not disrupted.

Khmeimim Air Base, also Hmeimim Air Base is a Syrian airbase currently operated by Russia, located south-east of the city of Latakia in Hmeimim, Latakia Governorate, Syria.
