Zarif: Iran-Italy accords in implementation phase

Speaking to IRNA prior to meeting with Italian senior officials, Zarif said the preliminaries for the implementation of the accords, especially in financial security domains, are getting finalized and need to be reviewed.

He said, “Today, I will meet Italian Prime Minister, Speaker and Foreign Minister and we will in the meetings discuss bilateral economic relations and ways to enforce the JCPOA.”

“In meetings with Italians today, there will also be talks on Iran-Italy bilateral, regional and international cooperation.”

Zarif is scheduled to meet with Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni, Foreign Minister Angelino Alfano, and President of the Chamber of Deputies Laura Boldrini on key regional and international issues and bilateral relations.
