Visa cancellation big step in bolstering Iran-Serbia ties

Visa cancellation took place at first by Serbia on September 2, 2017 and then Iran from November 1, 2017 caused promotion of cooperation level between the two countries in different fields, especially in tourism and exchanging goods.

Establishment of direct flight between Tehran and Belgrade is another important step in direction to accelerate tourist, businessmen shuttling and increase in trade cooperation between the two countries.

The first Iran Air flight landed at Nikola Tesla Airport on March 10, 2018, which was the first one after 27 years.

Iran Air is to fly to Belgrade twice a week on Saturday and Tuesday and vice-versa.

In addition to Iran Air, Qeshm Air is to begin its flights to Belgrade from this week by two flights weekly.
