Iran stresses Iranologists’ role in developing Tehran-Moscow ties

Reza Maleki made the remarks Wednesday in a conference on culture and politics in Iran history held in Russian State University for the Humanities.

Studying the process in three periods of Tsardom of Russia, the Soviet Union and after dissolution of the Soviet Union, indicates that developing all-out ties in cultural field requires new methods and also taking advantage of young Iranologists.

Russian State University for the Humanities has historic ties with Iran cultural attaché office, he said.

The first Iranology conference was held with the contribution of Russian university and with 100 scientific articles 15 years ago, he added.

The Eurasia Iranology conference and establishing Iran study center was also held in this university, Maleki said.

The 2nd scientific conference on culture and politics in Iran history was held with the contribution of Iran cultural attaché office in Moscow on Wednesday.
