Vaezi: Turkish companies keen on investment in Iran

Minister of Communication and Information Technology Mahmoud Vaezi arrived in Istanbul on Monday at the head of delegation to attend the 26th world congress of Post Union.

He held meeting with head of Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, Industry on the sidelines of the congress.

The two officials exchanged views on ways to develop bilateral ties.

Vaezi underlined importance of relations with Turkey and priorities of the Turkish industrialists and companies for investment in Iran in the wake of JCPOA.

The Turkish official expressed pleasure with the meeting, saying that relations between Iran and Turkey, are necessary for the two states, and for the entire Islamic world as well.

Bagchevan said that capacity of Istanbul Chamber of Commerce and Industry makes up for about 40 percent of Turkey's industrial production.

Bagchevan said that members of Istanbul Chamber of Commerce are willing to attend Iran's market and make investment in different industrial fields in Iran.
