Vaezi arrives in Baku

Talking to reporters upon arrival in Baku, Vaezi said he is visiting Azerbaijan to arrange preliminaries for the imminent visit of President Hassan Rouhani to the Republic of Azerbaijan.

He made clear that the tripartite meeting of Iranian, Russian and Azeri presidents in Baku will focus on economic subjects.

He hoped that Iranian president's official visit to Azerbaijan and his trilateral meeting with his Russian and Azeri counterparts will serve as a serious and progressive step favoring bilateral and tripartite ties.

During his two-day stay in Azerbaijan, Vaezi will meet with his Azeri counterpart and Azeri ministers of economy and foreign affairs.
