UNESCO Advisor: Fars tourism capacities winning card for economic development

Rao added that existing plenty of historical well-known sites, diversity and appropriate tourism installations, cleanness and beauties of the city, hospitality of the people totally attracted a wide range of tourists from different countries.

During visit to world heritage sites of Persepolis and Pasargad and ancient site of Naqsheh-Roustam, Kishore Rao said that he always wished to travel to Iran.

Rao expressed pleasure that from nine gardens registered in the UNESCO World Heritage list , two of them are in Fars province, adding that these gardens design and ancient architecture are unique.

He also paid tribute to two great Persian poets; Hafez and Sa'adei Shirazi during his visit to Shiraz.
