Improvement of trade ties with China is of great importance and development of economic relations with this country is a top priority, new Iranian Ambassador to China Mohammad Keshavarzzadeh said.
He made the remarks in a meeting with the Iranian traders and entrepreneurs residing in China.
The official also underlined facilitation of commerce between Tehran and Beijing and removal of obstacles on the way of the two countries' banking cooperation.
New Iranian Ambassador to China Mohammad Keshavarzzadeh submitted his credentials to Chinese President Xi Jinping on December 18.
During the meeting, the Chinese president described Iran and China as two countries that enjoy lots of historical and cultural commonalities and stressed improvement of all-out ties with Iran.
