Tehran, Baku discuss completion of north-south transport corridor

The trend of construction of railway bridge measuring 82.5 meters on Astara river along the joint border, 8.3-kilometer railway from Azerbaijan’s Astara terminal to the border of Iran and the operations which took place in Iran’s soil were discussed during the meeting.

Qorbanov announced that the measures taken place in line with boosting the transit capacities of Azerbaijan necessitates that the operation to complete the north-south transport corridor to be expedited in Azerbaijan’s soil.

The two sides also agreed on the expansion of mutual cooperation.
