South Pars gas production to increase by 1.5b cubic feet

Speaking on the sidelines of loading A19 platform of South Pars, Hammidreza Masoudi said that based on accomplished planning, A19 platform will be installed in Iranian month of Tir (June/July) and will be launched in the Persian Gulf on Iranian month of Aban (October/November).

He added that 7 million cubic meters gas is injected from phase 19 to global network.

He noted that A19 platform loading has started since June 16 and it will be finished on June 18.

He said that Sea Fasting will be started 15 days later and loading operation of phase 21 will also be finished.

He said that developing plan contract of phase 19 cost $ 4.8m, adding that, after launching two platforms of phase 19, 1.5m cubic feet will be added to the capacity of the field.

Iranian Petroleum Minister Bijan Zangeneh said that daily exploitation from South Pars was 241m cubic meters in Iranian calendar year of 1391 and this amount reached 354 m cubic meters in Iranian year of 1394 which had 50% growth.
