Russia, Thai companies submit survey result on Changouleh oil field

International companies which had signed MoU to study oil fields in Iran are submitting their surveys gradually.

For Changouleh Oil Field, in western province of Ilam, several foreign companies had signed MoU with Iran and on August 12, 2017 Norwegian DNO Company submitted its survey to Iran.

Gazprom and Thai companies also submitted their survey
results on Sunday evening.

NIOC is to begin technical consideration of the three submitted surveys soon and then it will take decision on tender for this oil field in the framework of the new oil model contracts.

Changouleh oil field is located in 10 to 15 kilometers far from Iran and Iraq border line.
