In an exclusive interview with the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on Monday, Abdul Karim Gravand said that Marjan petrochemical plants, the third phase of Pardis and Phase 1 of Damavand Petrochemical Plant will be operational during the President's visit to Assalouyeh.
He also noted that the Persian Gulf cooperation agreement and the oil-rich regions of the south are to be concluded for the purpose of collecting oil gases.
Bushehr governor stated, 'By concluding this contract and collecting gases, environmental and air pollution in Assaluyeh, which is one of the serious concerns of the people and authorities, will be resolved.'
Gravand said the president's visit to Bushehr Province will last one day and does not have a public meeting.
However, the provincial issues requiring a president's order will be available to Rouhani.
