President Rouhani: Gov't Forex policy to alleviate people's concerns

Addressing a meeting of the government's economic headquarters on forex market management, he said that the move is to ease concerns of people, producers, economic activists in order to enable them to draw out perspective plans.

The new policy is to bolster the country's security and prevent financial and monetary policies running contradict the country's national interests, he said.

Adopting crystal clear policies help prevent fraud in forex market, President Rouhani said.

All predictions on preventing price hikes for essential goods have been made, he said.

All branches of government and all organizations are obliged to comply with such policies, President Rouhani underlined.
