Petroleum Min. supports Parsian Zone as new petchem hub

Zangeneh made the remarks in a meeting held Monday to review investment development and obstacles in Parsian Zone.

He said Petroleum Ministry is ready to invest in the region.

He added that Petroleum Ministry has supplied gas to the Parsian Zone, saying petrochemical industry development is an activity which has always been pursued by the government.

Zangeneh went on to say that cooperation between Petroleum Ministry, National Petrochemical Company and Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) will continue.

Meanwhile, Executive Director of National Petrochemical Company Marzieh Shahdaei addressed the meeting, saying that European and international companies are ready to invest in Parsian Zone.
