Oman urges boosting trade exchanges with Iran

Ali bin Masoud Al Sunaidy in a meeting with Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Morteza Sarmadi in Muscat also noted that the trade exchanges between Iran and Oman increased last year.

In the meeting, ways for boosting joint economic and trade cooperation were also discussed.

Meanwhile, the Iranian official, for his part, called for more cooperation on ports, joint investment, promoting exports and pursuing the topics issued by the joint economic cooperation commission.

Sarmadi also met Iranian businessmen, company managers and heads of Iranian banks in Muscat on Tuesday.
