Labor minister confers with Austrian, Mexican, Indian counterparts

During the meeting with his Indian counterpart, Rouhani pointed to the two countries' commonalities, and said, 'Iran and India have many things in common and accordingly the draft agreement with India's agriculture ministry in the cooperatives sector is in the stage of finalization.'

The Iranian labor minister reiterated that India has good experiences in the field of information technology and Iran is willing to make use of these experiences to create jobs for the educated people.

In his meeting with Austrian labor minister, Rabiei called for sharing experiences in the fields of social insurances, welfare policies and retirement funds.

During his meeting with his Mexican counterpart, the Iranian labor minister expressed the hope that in the near future the two countries would sign an executive program proposed by the Mexican labor minister in order to broaden the two countries' cooperation in these fields.

Rabiei left Tehran for Geneva on Sunday to attend the 105th International Labor Conference there.

The International Labor Conference will focus on international events in the field of labor and social affairs and the participating countries will attend the conference at the highest level.

The 105th International Labor Organization Conference will last until June 10. The conference started on May 30.

The conference is the most important international event in the field of labor and social security.
