Iran's president on Tuesday blasted Washington's efforts aimed at urging importers of Iranian oil to stop buying the commodity from the country, and said, 'The Americans have claimed they want to completely stop Iran's oil exports. They don’t understand the meaning of this statement, because it has no meaning for Iranian oil not to be exported, while the region’s oil is exported.'
President Rouhani also said that Iran considers the Zionist regime of Israel as illegitimate and believes that Tel Aviv's measures in the region are aggressive.
General Soleimani in his letter released on Wednesday called President Rouhani a 'dear brother', and said, 'What you said about the export of the Iranian oil and stance of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the Zionist regime of Israel was a source of proud.'
'This is the same Rouhani we used to know, we have and the same Rouhani that should be,' the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps commander wrote in his letter.
'By your wise, invaluable and powerful remarks you filled with pride dear Leader [of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei], the big Iranian people and world Muslims,' General Soleimani said.
The IRGC Quds Force commander went on to praise again the 'wise and rightful remarks' by President Rouhani, stressing 'I am at the service of any policy that is to the interest of the Islamic Establishment.'
