Iran’s non-oil exports hit $44 billion

'This volume indicates a four-percent growth as compared to that of the previous year and is 16 percent away from what had been scheduled,' Modoudi said on the sidlines of a visit to Khosravi and Parviz-khan border crossings on Wednesday night.

“We saw a reduction in exports in Kermanshah Province last year and it was due to insecurities in Iraq, but at the same time there was an increase of exports in some other border districts, including Ilam Province,” he said.

'We have to seriously follow up the issue of exports this year due to the considerable capacities for promotion of exports in Kermanshah,' he said while referring to the Leader’s New Year’s message.

Qasr-e-Shirin, located in the west of Kermanshah Province, has a 186 Km border with Iraq; Khosravi and Parviz-khan border crossings are the two official passages for the exports to Baghdad and Kurdistan region in Iraq.
