Iran’s exports of commodities up 5% in 9 months

Speaking during a conference in Shahroud University of Technology, Zarandi also said that the country’s imports have reduced by 15% over the nine-month period in comparison to that in the same period last year.

He said that Iran imported some $ 32 billion of commodities in the mentioned period while the country’s imports amounted to $ 38 billion in the same period last year.

He noted that one of the obstacles on the way of imports is the high price of foreign currency which provides an opportunity for the country that should be used to promote exports.
