Speaking to reporters on Saturday, Mohammad-Reza Modoudi, the deputy head of Trade Promotion Organization of Iran, said that the figure shows a two-percent decline in terms of value compared to figures from the same period last year.
Iran's exports last year showed 3.5% growth in terms of value and 38% rise in terms of weight in comparison to one year earlier, the official said.
He said that Iran's exports capacity can be boosted to an annual 40 to 50 billion dollars once the ground for further investment in Iran is prepared.
