Iran’s ambassador confers with Syrian agriculture minister

During the meeting held on Saturday, Iran’s envoy voiced his country’s readiness for all-out backing in all fields to the country, especially within the framework of proposed projects and signed agreements earlier.

Syrian minister, for his part, offered proposals on establishment of vaccine producing factory and livestock feed, poultry slaughterhouse and refrigerating rooms to facilitate marketing and sales.

Coordination works for implementing agreements signed recently with Iran, especially investment for building livestock and agricultural research center in Tartus are underway.

He also underlined the need for sharing Iran’s experience in the field of sea food.

Iran and Syria inked five cooperation memoranda of understanding in the spheres of agriculture animal husbandry, industry, oil and communication in February 2017.
