Iranian, Turkish economies helping each other to develop

The ambassador made the remarks in a meeting with Director General of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation of the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (COMCEC) Mohammad Matin Akkr.
They reviewed the grounds for Iranian cooperation with COMCEC.
In the meeting, which took place in Turkey Development Ministry on Wednesday, the two sides discussed the grounds for cooperation with aim to advance OIC programs in line with the goal of prosperity and tranquility of the member states.
Matin Akkr said that the committee is responsible to deliver services to 57 Islamic member states and that Iran as an powerful country has the widest level of cooperation with COMCEC.
The COMCEC director general said that some Iranian Ministries are participating in COMCEC activities and the international organization appreciates Iranian partnership.
The ambassador called Iran, Turkey economic capacity are supplementary to each other and expressed hope that by using scientific and economic capabilities of the two countries, they could be able to help and develop other Islamic states.
COMCEC is one of specialized committees of OIC founded in 1981 by the OIC Summit. Turkey has undertaken presidency of COMCEC.
