Iranian, Slovak banks ink MoU

The two sides agreed to cooperate in the fields of banking, insurance as well as exchanging information on trade credit between the two countries and other fields which facilitate trade.

The Iranian side expressed pleasure for bolstering trade relations with European states, including Slovakia, and expressed hope that banking and insurance cooperation could be expanded in the near future.

Export Guarantee Fund of Iran also signed MoU with Finland Export Credit Insurance Institute (Finnvera) on May 16 on the sidelines of spring meeting of Berne Union.

Slovakia with around a population of six million has a Gross Domestic Products (GDP) of $ 100 billion with growth rate of one percent.

Iran and Slovakia signed two MoU on expansion of investment and avoiding dual-taxation in 2015.
