He made the remarks in a meeting with the Turkish Minister of Economy Nihat Zeybekci.
The official urged completion of railway link between Iran and Turkey and said that easier transportation will facilitate trade between the two countries.
Noting that Iranian trucks are occasionally attacled when travelling inside Turkey, he called for promotion of safety for the Iranian trucks.
The Iranian minister encouraged connecting the Bazargan–Kars railway.
During the meeting, Turkey's economy minister expressed his regret for attacks on Iranian trucks in the Turkish soil and said that Turkish government is committed to enhancing safety of passing trucks according to the international standards.
The Turkish companies are interested at participating in Iran's infrastructure projects, he said.
The official added that Turkey will do its best to facilitate banking cooperation with Iran.
