Iran ups exports to Iraq through Mehran border crossing

Iran exported a total of 1.48 billion dollars worth of commodities to Iraq through Mehran border crossing in the first nine months of this year (March 21, 2018-December 22, 2018), Director General of Ilam Customs Administration Ruhollah Gholami said.

The official noted that Iran exported 1.2 billion dollars worth of commodities to Iraq trough Mehran border crossing last year (ended March 20, 2018).

He predicted 10 percent rise in Iran exports to Iraq through Mehran border crossing.

Iran exported various products to Iraq through Mehran border crossing, including agricultural, plastic and polyethylene commodities, steel products, car parts, and construction materials.
