Iran underlines promotion of banking cooperation with Syria

He made the remarks in a meeting with his Syrian counterpart Duraid Durgam.

Seif hailed progress of economic cooperation between Iran and Syria, and called for removal of obstacles.

During the meeting, governor of Central Bank of Syria called the current level of cooperation between Tehran and Damascus satisfactory and urged development of economic and banking cooperation between the two capitals.

The official urged further consultation between Iranian investors and their Syrian counterparts for resolution of problems on the way of their joint venture in the war-torn region.
