
Iran's Consulate General Sajjad Soltanzadeh along with some Turkish local officials were present in the conference.
The economic conference calls for expansion of economic cooperation between the two countries mainly in border provinces, Soltanzadeh said, adding that the two countries should enhance their capacity and prepare grounds for both sides' businesspersons for more exchange of views and negotiations.
Head of Erzurum chamber of commerce, for his part, said they will not accept re-imposition of sanctions against Iran and there is no doubt that these sanctions have targeted the country in energy and financial sectors.
Negative developments against Iran leave impacts both on the region and Turkey; he said and called for the expansion of relations and cooperation with Iran.
