Iran takes part in global research council meeting

The meeting began its work under two topics; inter-disciplinary researches and women position in research affairs.
According to the Office of Iranian Vice-President for Science and Technology Affairs, 120 representatives from 50 foundations supporting global research were present in the meeting.
Head of Support Fund for Researchers and Technicians (Iran National Science Fund) Nosratollah Zargham attended the meeting.
Global Research Council is an international organization consisted by heads of world science foundations, aiming to improve connection and cooperation between science foundations and promote and share information and find the best research cooperation methods.
In addition to the annual meeting, the GRC hold a regional meeting once in a year.
