Iran, Russia discuss industrial ties

Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh and Alexander Novak discussed the expediting the enhancement of mutual cooperation in the economic, commercial, industrial and energy fields in St. Petersburg.

They also reviewed implementation of the agreements reached between the two countries valued at over 40 billion euros.

Iranian Ambassador to Moscow Mehdi Sanayee and several Iranian and Russian officials were also present in the meeting.

In early April, Sanayee voiced his satisfaction in the ongoing trend of mutual cooperation between Iran and Russia.

'A bright future is waiting for the two countries' relations in the upcoming weeks,' Sanayee said, addressing a conference in Moscow.

He underlined that Iranian and Russian officials have strong determination to broaden their bilateral ties.

'Iran and Russia are developing their scientific, academic and technological relations,' Sanayee added.
